Directional Speaker and Amplifier System
Unlike conventional speakers, these units are highly directional creating a funnel of sound.
The sound waves reflect off any surface the speaker is pointing at giving the impression of
coming from that area.
They are great for playing white noise, nature sounds, bird song etc which are often used for
relaxation and yoga. Simply point the speaker at the area where you want the sound to to
come from (such as a wall, window or ceiling) to create a virtual speaker effect. By turning the
speaker, you will get the effect of moving sound.
Listen to the surf thundering against your wall, the rain beating against your window or the
birds singing in your conservatory roof.
Although the speakers are not HiFi, they can be used for playing dialog and music and the
sound is easily blocked or absorbed which is a useful feature for noise sensitive areas, late
night music and TV or outdoors in the garden etc.
The speaker produces a comfortable level of sound which doesn't need to be loud as due to
it's focused nature the sound carries further than conventional speakers and can be clearly
heard 50 feet or more away when in the sound path.
The system comes complete with amplifier and MP3 player with sound samples and can
accept input from headphone sockets on devices such as MP3 players, laptops Televisions
etc.
Uses circuit and modulation techniques to reduce distortion.
