Tennis Stroke profile indicator

The Tennis profile indicator measures groundstroke profile
and acceleration based on modern technique.

Using the very latest microcontroller and sensor technology the unit is compact and
light and is easy to fit to any racket.


How it works
A value is displayed on the unit which relates to how  the racket
is meeting the ball. The magnitude of the value depends not only
on how fast the racket is swung but more importantly on stroke
profile.

There is no need for a tennis ball. Simply swing the racket as if
playing a ground stroke (forehand or backhand) and the unit will
automatically display a value at the end of the stroke relating to
the profile of the shot.   
You can make adjustments to the stroke and immediately see if there
is an improvement or not.

Audio feedback
The unit has a high pitched buzzer which is activated near the maximum acceleration
point giving you an indication of where the maximum acceleration is being developed.

Graphing feature
The unit can store information on the swing which can later be entered into a graphing
package such as Excel. This feature can be very useful for investigating swing linearity
or for comparing swing profiles.
















The Tennis stroke profiler could be useful to coaches wishing to add another
dimension to their coaching methods. It could also be useful to individuals wishing to
improve their game. But please note that the unit will not in itself teach you how to
play a correct stroke and is not a substitute for proper coaching.
